2. General information

We process personal data only where this is necessary to operate the shop, handle orders, communicate with you, process payments, arrange delivery, meet legal obligations, or on the basis of your consent.

3. Hosting and shop system

Our online shop runs on Shopify. Shopify processes technical data as well as order and customer data to the extent necessary for operating the shop and fulfilling orders.

4. Orders and customer account

When you place an order or create a customer account, we process your name, billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number, and order and payment information. Guest checkout is available.

5. Contacting us and the wish box

If you contact us via the contact form, the wish box on the home page, or by email, we process the information you provide in order to deal with your enquiry. For the wish box this is your email address and, optionally, your name and a description of the plant you are looking for. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries relating to a contract.

6. Payment service providers

Various payment methods may be offered at checkout (in particular PayPal, Klarna, credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, direct debit). The data required for processing is transmitted to the payment service provider you select.

7. Shipping

For delivery we pass your name, delivery address and, where applicable, contact details to the carrier. The specific carrier will be named here once it has been determined.

8. Cookies and technologies

Our shop uses technically necessary cookies (basket, checkout, security). Non-essential cookies are only set with valid consent. We manage consent through a consent tool; you can adjust or withdraw your choices at any time via the "Change cookie settings" link in the footer. We currently do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel or comparable external tracking.

9. Analytics and marketing

We currently use no external marketing tracking. Should analytics or marketing services be activated later, this policy will be updated beforehand.

10. Newsletter

You can sign up for our newsletter using the form in the footer or on the newsletter page. We process your email address in order to send you information about products, offers and news.

Sign-up uses the double opt-in procedure: after entering your address you receive an email containing a confirmation link. Only after you confirm do we add you to the mailing list.

The legal basis is your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw it at any time, via the unsubscribe link at the end of every newsletter email or by writing to hallo@bloomli.de. Sending is handled through Shopify. We store your address until you withdraw consent.

11. Customer reviews

Reviews are collected and stored using Shopify's review function. We currently do not use an additional external review app. How we handle reviews is set out on the page How we handle reviews.

12. Recipients of data

Personal data may be transmitted to service providers for shop operation, payment, delivery, customer communication, accounting and legal obligations.

13. Retention period

We store data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations.

14. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to certain processing. You may withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

15. Security

We take technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
