Answered briefly and honestly. If your question is not here, use the wish box on the home page or write to Bloomli via the contact page.

Product & material

Do Bloomli's artificial flowers look real?

At normal distance they are hard to tell from real blooms. Bloomli uses realistic materials and real-touch surfaces. Up close, an attentive eye will still spot the difference.

What are the flowers made of?

Mostly silk fabric or polyester, plastic, and a wire inside the stem. More detailed information is given with the respective product where the manufacturer provides it.

Can I bend or shorten the stems?

Yes. The wire inside the stem lets you bend and arrange them freely. You can shorten them with side cutters.

How do artificial flowers look most natural?

Arrange the stems at different heights, bend them slightly apart and group them loosely rather than in strict symmetry.

Which vase suits my bouquet?

As a rule of thumb, the bouquet is about one to one and a half times the height of the vase. You will find matching vases in the Vases and decor category.

Is the vase or pot included in the price?

That is stated with every product under scope of delivery. Many potted plants come in their pot, bouquets usually come without a vase. If in doubt, just ask, Bloomli answers quickly.

Can the colour differ from the photo?

Slight differences are possible. Every screen renders colour a little differently, and natural light does the rest. Larger deviations are grounds for complaint, just get in touch.

Where do the products come from?

They are manufactured in China. Bloomli sources them through a dealer network in the Netherlands that imports the goods into the EU and stores them there. From there they are shipped to you.

Care & storage

How do I clean artificial flowers?

Remove dust regularly with a soft brush or a hairdryer on the cool setting. Washable blooms can be rinsed briefly under lukewarm water and left to air-dry.

Do the colours fade in the sun?

Very strong, constant sunlight can bleach colours over time. In particularly sunny spots it is best to place them somewhat more sheltered.

Are the flowers suitable for outdoors?

By default they are made for indoor use. Only versions explicitly marked as UV- and weather-resistant are suitable for outdoors.

How do I store seasonal pieces?

Best upright and free of dust, for example in the original box with padding. Do not squash them, crushed blooms do not always spring fully back. Afterwards you can usually reshape them by hand.

Safety

Are artificial flowers suitable for allergy sufferers?

Artificial flowers release no pollen of their own and therefore add no pollen source to the room. Dust does settle on the leaves, though. If you have a dust mite allergy, wiping them regularly helps.

Are they safe around pets and children?

They contain none of the toxic plant substances found in many real houseplants. As they are decorative items with small parts, please still keep them out of reach of small children and animals.

Are these items toys?

No. They are decorative items, not children's toys. Please keep them away from open flames and sustained heat.

Sustainability

Are artificial flowers sustainable?

Honestly, they contain plastic, are not biodegradable and are hard to recycle. The decisive factor is how long they are used: what stands for years does not have to be bought again and again. There is no robust life-cycle assessment comparing them with cut flowers, so Bloomli does not present any figures here.

Ordering

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can order as a guest. An account is optional and simply makes future orders more convenient.

I did not receive an order confirmation.

Check your spam folder first. If there is nothing there, write to Bloomli with your name and roughly when you ordered. Bloomli will look into it and resend the confirmation.

Can I still change or cancel my order?

As long as it has not shipped, usually yes. Write to Bloomli as soon as possible via the Withdrawal and cancellation page or directly by email. If it is already on its way, your 30-day right of withdrawal applies.

I need larger quantities for a practice, office, restaurant or a wedding.

Write to Bloomli via the contact page saying what you need and by when. Bloomli will see what can be done.

I cannot find a particular plant.

Use the wish box on the home page. Enter your wish, Bloomli will try to source the product and get back to you as soon as it is available.

Shipping

How long does delivery take?

The expected delivery time is 3–6 days, depending on the item and destination country, including one day for processing and packing. For each item it is shown on the product page next to the price. Orders ship from the Netherlands.

What does shipping cost?

Shipping costs depend on the destination country and the item. Particularly large plants and trees are delivered by freight, to Germany from EUR 89.95. This is clearly shown on the item. You see the exact amount on every product page, in the cart and at checkout before you complete your order. Items from different suppliers arrive in separate parcels; items from the same supplier may also arrive separately. Shipping costs then apply per parcel. Within Germany, parcel items ship free from an order value of EUR 299, freight items excluded.

Where does Bloomli ship to?

To Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Czechia and Hungary. Bloomli does not currently ship to Switzerland. Not every item ships to every one of these countries, it depends on the supplier. The product page shows whether an item can be delivered to your selected country; checkout confirms it at the latest.

Can I track my shipment?

As soon as your parcel is on its way you will receive a shipping confirmation by email. If it contains a tracking number, you can follow the parcel with it.

My parcel arrived damaged.

Please contact Bloomli right away, ideally with a photo of the goods and the packaging. Bloomli will sort it out. Your statutory warranty rights apply independently of the right of withdrawal.

Payment

Which payment methods does Bloomli offer?

Credit and debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express), PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and SEPA direct debit. Which methods are available in your case is shown transparently at checkout and on the Shipping and payment page.

Do prices include VAT?

Yes. All prices are final prices including statutory VAT, plus shipping costs.

Do I get an invoice?

Your order confirmation contains all details on items, prices and tax. If you need a separate document, for example for bookkeeping, just write to Bloomli and it will be sent to you.

Returns & withdrawal

Can I return items or withdraw from the purchase?

Yes. You have a 30-day right of withdrawal with Bloomli, which is longer than the law requires. You can submit a withdrawal or cancellation conveniently via the withdrawal page.

In what condition do the goods have to come back?

Looking and checking is expressly allowed, just as you would in a shop. Please send back the complete contents of the box and pack everything safely, ideally in the original box with padding. If the goods are damaged or have been used beyond examining them, Bloomli may withhold compensation for that loss in value and refund correspondingly less.

Who pays for the return?

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

When do I get my money back?

At the latest fourteen days after your declaration of withdrawal has reached Bloomli, using the same payment method as for the purchase. Bloomli may withhold the refund until the goods are back or you have proven that you sent them, whichever comes first.

How do I exchange an item?

Bloomli does not offer a classic exchange. The quickest way is to withdraw from the goods you received and order the item you want anew.

Newsletter & privacy

How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?

Via the unsubscribe link at the end of every newsletter email or via the newsletter page. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

What happens to my data?

Bloomli uses it to fulfil your order and to reply to you. Details are in the privacy policy. You can change your cookie settings at any time via the cookie at the bottom left.

Reviews

Are Bloomli's reviews genuine?

Yes. Bloomli reads every review itself and approves it by hand; nothing is published automatically. How Bloomli checks authenticity is explained in detail on the page How Bloomli verifies reviews.

How can I write a review myself?

Via the reviews area on the home page. A name is enough, the order number and email address are seen only by Bloomli and are never published.
