Orchids are one of the most species-rich plant families in the world, and the Phalaenopsis is their best-known face: hardly any other flowering houseplant is found so often on windowsills and in waiting rooms. After flowering, a real Phalaenopsis sheds everything and takes months to bud again. This one skips the break.
