Artificial Areca Palm Lat. Dypsis lutescens Height approx. 122 cmNursery pot Ø 18 cm
incl. VAT, plus shipping
Tropical, fresh and timeless: this artificial areca palm turns a living room, hallway, bedroom or office into a little piece of the south. It looks generous yet stays light.
Slender stems carry full, graceful leaves. The realistic workmanship makes the palm look natural. It comes in two heights: around 122 cm for a corner of the room or around 190 cm as an impressive eye-catcher in a conservatory or at reception.
The areca suits anyone who wants palm flair but has no bright spot or no time for care. It needs neither water nor light. Dust it now and then with a dry cloth or feather duster. That's all it takes.
- No watering, no wilting

What's sold as an areca palm is, botanically speaking, usually the golden cane palm, Dypsis lutescens, from Madagascar. The actual genus Areca, on the other hand, includes the betel nut palm from tropical Asia.
