Artificial Enkianthus Shrub
Artificial Enkianthus Shrub Height approx. 130 cmNursery pot Ø 17 cm
incl. VAT, plus shipping
Fine, dark branches with small rosettes of light green leaves at their tips: the artificial enkianthus looks light and airy. As a floor plant at approx. 110 or 130 cm tall, it fills an empty corner without looking heavy.
What makes it special is its shape. Where many artificial plants rely on a few large leaves, the enkianthus lives from many small ones that sit like stars at the tips of the branches. It brings movement into a corner of the room that otherwise consists only of straight lines.
It suits the living room, the bedroom, the hallway or the workplace, anywhere greenery is wanted but nobody wants to water. For people without green fingers, for rooms without daylight, for anyone who reacts to pollen. Occasional dusting with a dry cloth is enough.
- No watering, no light, no wilting

The enkianthus comes from East Asia. Its botanical name derives from the Greek words for “pregnant” and “flower”, after its bulbous, bell-shaped flowers. In Japan, the species Enkianthus perulatus is popular as dōdan-tsutsuji: in spring it bears small white bells, and in autumn its leaves turn a brilliant red.
