A fern the size of a tree: the artificial leather fern has long, airy fronds that fall far outwards. It looks less like a potted plant and more like a green piece of furniture that fills a corner completely.
The leather fern gets its name from the firm, leathery leaves of the original. The fronds are finely feathered and wide-spreading: at 150 cm tall, the plant measures around 120 cm across, at 180 cm around 140 cm. So plan for space on all sides.
The leather fern is a calm, classic choice for the office, reception or a practice. At home it fits next to the sofa, in the stairwell or in the bedroom. A real fern wants humidity and shade; this one also looks good next to the radiator or in a windowless hallway.

Rumohra adiantiformis is the fern found in almost every bouquet: florists use its fronds as greenery between the flowers because they stay fresh for a long time after cutting. That's why it is grown in large quantities as cut foliage. So the shape seems familiar to you, even if you've never heard the name.
