Artificial Polka Dot Begonia Lat. B. maculata Height approx. 24 cmNursery pot Ø 9 cm
incl. VAT, plus shipping
Small but full of character: at approx. 24 cm, the artificial Begonia maculata is a compact bit of greenery for spots where a real plant would quickly flag.
It is modelled on the polka dot begonia, one of the most eye-catching houseplants of recent years. The artificial version brings this look in miniature format, approx. 9 cm wide and sized to fit on any windowsill.
It looks good on the desk in your home office, on a bathroom shelf, on the bedside table or as a small splash of colour between books. It also works as a little gift, because the recipient can't do anything wrong. If you collect several small artificial plants, you'll find a fitting piece for the group here.

Maculata is Latin for spotted: the real Begonia maculata has silvery-white dots on dark green leaves whose undersides shimmer reddish. That is why its German name is Forellenbegonie, the trout begonia. The genus Begonia is named after Michel Bégon, a French colonial administrator and plant lover of the 17th century.
