Artificial Dragon Tree Lat. Dracaena Height approx. 130 cmWidth approx. 30 cmNursery pot Ø 14 cm
incl. VAT, plus shipping
Two-tone green leaves, calm and upright: the artificial dragon tree is a floor plant that doesn't need much space but adds height. It stands next to the sofa, at the end of the hallway or beside the office door, without being intrusive.
The leaf pattern in two shades of green makes it livelier than single-coloured foliage. It works on its own next to a sideboard or armchair, but also in a group with other plants of different heights. Three heights are available, approx. 130, 155 and 190 cm, all around 30 to 40 cm wide.
A real dragon tree doesn't like the cold; its leaves turn black. This one is fine even in a cool hallway, a stairwell or an office that isn't heated at weekends. For anyone without green fingers, for rooms without daylight and for allergy sufferers, because there is no pollen here.

The name dragon tree comes from the Canary Islands dragon tree, Dracaena draco. If its bark is injured, a red resin seeps out that has been traded as "dragon's blood" since antiquity and used as a dye and varnish. On Tenerife, the Drago Milenario is a specimen regarded as the island's landmark.
