Artificial Fiddle-Leaf Fig with Sturdy Trunk Lat. Ficus lyrata Height approx. 180 cmNursery pot Ø 25 cm
incl. VAT, plus shipping
A fiddle-leaf fig as a tree: a sturdy trunk topped by the large, curved leaves that give the plant its name. At around 180 cm tall, it stands at eye level and turns an empty corner into a focal point.
The trunk holds the crown up freely, the leaves are large and fiddle-shaped, the surface looks natural. At the base the tree measures around 25 cm. At first glance, it is hard to tell apart from a real fiddle-leaf fig.
It suits the living room next to the sofa, the hallway, the conservatory or the office and reception. A real fiddle-leaf fig is demanding and reacts to every change of position. This one stays wherever you put it, and stays that way. Dust it now and then with a dry cloth, done.

In the 2010s, the fiddle-leaf fig became the favourite plant of interior magazines and appeared in countless photos of homes. The real one, however, is considered temperamental: it dislikes draughts, wet feet and moving house, and responds to all of them with brown spots. The artificial version spares you that.
