Artificial Croton (Codiaeum variegatum), Height approx. 40 cm
Artificial Croton Lat. Codiaeum variegatum Height approx. 40 cmNursery pot Ø 12 cm
incl. VAT, plus shipping
A croton gets noticed. Hardly any other houseplant has such boldly marked leaves, and that very presence comes here in a version that needs neither light nor warmth. Around 40 cm high, about 12 cm wide.
Its compact shape makes the artificial croton a piece for small spaces: desk, shelf, bedside table or bathroom shelf. It also stands where a real croton would long since have let its leaves droop, such as a hallway without a window.
Right for anyone who loves colour but doesn't have green fingers. Also in the office or a holiday flat, where nobody checks on the plants for weeks. Dust it now and then, done.

The croton comes from the islands of the Malay Archipelago and the Pacific, where it grows into a shrub several metres tall. It owes its German name Wunderstrauch, wonder shrub, to its leaves: on a single plant, every leaf can be coloured and marked differently, from yellow to orange to red.
