Artificial Mahonia Height approx. 185 cmNursery pot Ø 22 cm
incl. VAT, plus shipping
A mahonia as an indoor tree: dense foliage, a striking shape, around 185 cm tall. It brings rich greenery into the room and looks more like a shrub from the garden than a classic houseplant.
The leaves are full and dense, the silhouette unmistakable. At the base it measures around 22 cm. At first glance, it is hard to tell apart from a real mahonia.
It suits the living room, the hallway and the conservatory, as well as offices, law firms or reception areas where a tall green accent is wanted. For anyone who wants something other than ficus and palm, and for rooms where a real mahonia wouldn't last long for lack of light. A little dusting now and then is enough.

With its jagged, leathery leaves, the mahonia looks similar to holly, but it is related to barberry. Its blue berries earned it the name Oregon grape in North America, and it is even the state flower of Oregon. It was named after the gardener Bernard McMahon.
