Artificial Maranta Height approx. 30 cmNursery pot Ø 12 cmmade of plastic
incl. VAT, plus shipping
Small, but with striking leaf markings: the artificial maranta is around 30 cm tall, nursery pot included, so it fits on any windowsill, desk or bookshelf.
The leaves are modelled on nature, with the typical vein structure that gives the maranta its patterned look. The green is fresh, with subtle accents. It comes in a black nursery pot 12 cm in diameter: unpack, put it down, done.
The real maranta is considered demanding. It likes warmth, humidity and brightness, but no direct sun. You can put this one wherever you like, even in a windowless bathroom or office. A little greenery for the home office, the guest room, or as a small gift for anyone without green fingers. For allergy sufferers: no pollen.

In English, the maranta is called the prayer plant: in the evening, a real maranta raises its leaves and folds them together like hands in prayer, and in the morning it lays them flat again. The genus is named after Bartolomeo Maranta, a 16th-century Venetian physician and botanist. The artificial maranta holds its leaves in the same position day and night.
