Artificial Vanda Orchid Height approx. 60 cmNursery pot Ø 10 cm
incl. VAT, plus shipping
Deep purple that catches the eye straight away: the artificial Vanda orchid is around 60 cm tall and comes in its nursery pot. On a dining table, in the living room, at reception or in a shop window, it sets a bold accent.
The flowers are true to nature and sit on the stem in a rich, dark colour. The purple looks best against light walls and neutral furniture, but also goes well with velvet, gold and dark tones. The nursery pot is 10 cm in diameter; a decorative pot is not included.
Keeping a real Vanda is a bit of a science. This one needs no water, no light, no nutrients. It suits living rooms and bedrooms, shops, offices and practices, anywhere the flowers shouldn't drop after two weeks. For allergy sufferers: no pollen.

The name Vanda comes from Sanskrit, where it referred to a species of orchid, making it one of the few genus names of Indian origin. Singapore's national flower, the orchid “Miss Joaquim”, was long classified in the genus Vanda; its flowers are light violet. Its darker relative here needs neither a tropical climate nor a gardener.
