Five cream-coloured peonies, each around 65 cm long. The double blooms are large and softly shaped, just like the peonies you know from cottage gardens, except that these don't lose their petals after a few days.
The cream is warm and understated. It goes with white walls, light wood and natural tones, but also works against dark green. You can leave the stems at one length or shorten them to different lengths, which gives the bouquet depth.
One bunch is enough for a medium-sized vase on the dining table or windowsill. For a wedding table, several bunches can be combined without anyone having to check the blooms in the morning.

The botanical name Paeonia goes back to Paion, the physician of the gods in Greek legend, who is said to have healed with the plant's root. Cream peonies are a classic in bridal bouquets, because their double blooms add a lot of volume and harmonise with almost any other colour.
