Artificial Philodendron, Height approx. 100 cm
Artificial Philodendron Height approx. 100 cmNursery pot Ø 25 cm
incl. VAT, plus shipping
A floor-standing Philodendron: around 100 cm tall, fully leaved and instantly a green focal point in the corner that used to be empty.
The large, characteristic leaves grow densely and give the plant its tropical look. At the base it measures about 25 cm, and it is free to spread out towards the top. The leaves are realistically crafted; in a tall cachepot, the plant looks as if it came fresh from the greenhouse.
The artificial Philodendron belongs in the living room, the hallway or the conservatory, but just as much in offices, practices and receptions, where real plants fail because of draughts and fluorescent light. Also in the holiday flat, where nobody checks on the greenery for weeks. Dust it now and then with a dry cloth or feather duster, and that's it.

Philodendron literally means "tree friend", from the Greek philos and dendron. Many species climb up trunks in the rainforests of Central and South America to reach the light, letting long aerial roots hang down as they go. The genus belongs to the arum family, the same family as Monstera and peace lily.
