Artificial Philodendron (Philodendron selloum), Height approx. 70 cm
Artificial Philodendron Lat. P. selloum Height approx. 70 cmNursery pot Ø 20 cm
incl. VAT, plus shipping
The Philodendron Selloum is the big-leaved one among the tree friends: deeply incised, wide-spreading leaves that stretch out in all directions. At around 70 cm tall, it fills an empty corner or the spot next to the sofa.
At the base it measures about 20 cm, and it widens above. The leaves are realistically crafted and give the room a botanical calm, like the one you know from greenhouses. In a tall cachepot, the plant has even more presence.
It suits the living room, the conservatory, the hallway or receptions, law firms and practices. For rooms with little light, for allergy sufferers and for everyone who likes greenery but not the care. Dust it now and then, done.

The real Philodendron Selloum, now botanically Thaumatophyllum bipinnatifidum, can do something only few plants can: it heats its flower from the inside to attract beetles as pollinators. In its homeland, the forests of Brazil and Paraguay, it grows into a man-sized shrub with a short, sturdy trunk.
