Artificial Polyscias Fabian Lat. Polyscias scutellaria 'Fabian' Height approx. 55 cmNursery pot Ø 15 cm

Full, round leaves and a compact habit: the Polyscias Fabian looks modern and tidy. At around 55 cm tall, it stands on the sideboard, the chest of drawers or as a small column next to the sofa.
The base measures about 15 cm in diameter; the plant grows slim and upright, carrying its leaves close to the stem. The detailing is realistic. In a straight cachepot in black or white, it emphasises the clean line.
It suits the living room, the home office, the hallway or receptions and meeting rooms, where the real Polyscias reacts to draughts by dropping leaves. For people without green fingers, for allergy sufferers and for rooms without daylight. A dusting now and then, nothing more.

Translated from Greek, Polyscias means roughly "much shade", after the dense foliage the plant provides in its tropical homeland. It belongs to the aralia family and is therefore related to ivy. The real Fabian is known to be sensitive to moving: new spot, new leaves on the floor. The artificial plant moves without any drama.
