What's in the box
Product description

A Tradescantia, around 32 cm tall, modelled on a plant that creeps and lets its shoots fall over the edge of the pot. The plant looks loose and lively, a piece of greenery that doesn't stand stiffly in the corner.

The base measures about 9 cm in diameter, so it fits into a small cachepot. On a shelf, a hanging shelf or the edge of a window it can trail, while on a sideboard it stays compact.

It suits the living room, the bathroom, the office or the holiday flat. For anyone who has lost a real Tradescantia despite constant pruning, for allergy sufferers and for rooms where the light isn't enough. No watering, no trimming, no repotting.

  • No watering, no wilting
  • No pollen
  • For shelf and windowsill

Nice to know

The Tradescantia bears the name of John Tradescant, gardener to the English King Charles I, who brought plants from the New World to Europe in the 17th century. In German it is called Dreimasterblume ("three-master flower"), because its small flowers have exactly three petals that recall the sails of a three-masted ship.
