Sunshine indoors, with no care needed: this artificial strelitzia is a tropical eye-catcher with striking orange flowers and fresh green leaves. It instantly livens up a living room, office or hallway.
At around 120 cm tall, measured including the pot, it has a strong presence. The sturdy black nursery pot, 12 cm in diameter, looks understated. That way, the colours of the flowers take centre stage.
The strelitzia is made for anyone who wants atmosphere but doesn't have green fingers. It needs no water and no attention. Unpack, set it up and enjoy the tropical feeling, in the living room just as much as at reception or in the hall.

In its South African homeland, the strelitzia is pollinated by sunbirds. The bird lands on the horizontal flower sheath, which serves as a perch, and picks up pollen on its feet. The shape of the flower is tailored exactly to this visit.
