Artificial Parlour Palm (Chamaedorea elegans)
Artificial Parlour Palm Lat. Chamaedorea elegans Height approx. 50 cmWidth approx. 50 cmNursery pot Ø 15 cm
incl. VAT, plus shipping
The parlour palm is one of the most popular indoor palms, and this version needs neither light nor water. Its feathery fronds bring a calm, tropical note into the room without dominating it.
At around 50 cm tall, the artificial parlour palm suits the windowsill, sideboard or desk. The fronds spread wide and loose; with a decorative pot of your choice, the picture is complete.
It suits the living room, the conservatory, the hallway and the office. If you are often away or would rather not keep a watering schedule, this is a palm that simply stays as it is. Also for allergy sufferers, because there is no pollen here. Dusting it now and then is enough.

Chamaedorea elegans comes from the mountain forests of Mexico and Guatemala, where it grows in the shade of larger trees. Hence its German name Bergpalme, mountain palm. In nature it stays small, which made it a popular houseplant early on, long before the monstera and the fiddle-leaf fig became fashionable.
