What's in the box
Product description

A myrtle around 83 cm tall: slim, finely leaved and quietly elegant. It stands on the floor next to a chest of drawers or on a low stool and gives the room a Mediterranean, tidy note.

The small leaves are what make it special, giving the plant a dense, delicate look. At about 12 cm wide at the base, it is very narrow and fits even into tight hallways. A cachepot of your choice rounds it off.

The artificial myrtle suits country-house and Mediterranean styles just as well as calm, modern rooms. It belongs by the window in the living room, in the conservatory, in practices and offices. And in any household that lacks green fingers or the time to water.

  • No watering, no wilting
  • No pollen

Nice to know

Since antiquity, myrtle has been considered the plant of love: the Greeks and Romans dedicated it to the goddess Aphrodite and Venus respectively. From this came the bridal myrtle wreath, which was part of weddings in Germany for generations. In the British royal family, brides still carry a sprig of myrtle in their bouquet today, cut from a bush that dates back to Queen Victoria's wedding.
