Artificial Croton Lat. Codiaeum variegatum Height approx. 100 cmWidth approx. 30 cmNursery pot Ø 12 cmwooden trunk
incl. VAT, plus shipping
A croton brings colour where otherwise only green stands: the leaves show several shades of green, red and purple side by side. The trunk is made of wood, which gives the plant weight and a natural stance.
Bloomli offers the artificial croton in two heights: around 100 cm as a standalone piece on a low plinth or next to the sofa, around 120 cm as a floor plant for the corner of the room. Both stay slim, about 30 to 40 cm wide, and so also fit into narrow hallways. It is hard to tell apart from real greenery.
Made for the living room, office, practice and reception, where a real plant with this much colour quickly flags. No light needed, no pollen, no falling leaves. Dusting it now and then is enough.
- No watering, no wilting

Codiaeum variegatum grows wild on the islands of the Malay Archipelago and in the Pacific. No two leaves are alike, which is why the plant is called Wonderstruik, wonder shrub, in Dutch. The trade name croton goes back to the old genus name under which the plant was first described.
