Borneo Plant Basket, Ø 14 cm, Grey
Borneo Plant Basket Ø 14 cm
incl. VAT, plus shipping
A small basket in grey, rustic in make and light enough to move around without a second thought. At around 14 cm in diameter, it holds small artificial plants in nursery pots up to about 12 cm.
The basket is made of natural materials. The grey colouring takes away its farmhouse feel and makes it suitable for modern rooms, as well as for country style, where baskets are at home anyway. It's sturdily built and stands securely.
It suits the windowsill, a shelf or the desk in the home office, for example with a small artificial succulent or an artificial fern. It also comes in handy for storing odds and ends in the bathroom or hallway. It doesn't tolerate water. For real plants, use an inner pot.

It is named after Borneo, the third-largest island on Earth. Wickerwork made of rattan and bamboo has a long tradition there. Rattan palms grow wild in the rainforests of Southeast Asia.
