Deep black on wickerwork: the Jorck plant basket in black is the graphic version of the model. The textured natural fibres remain visible, and the colour turns it into a piece that holds its own next to modern furniture too.
The silhouette is gently curved, not cylindrical. Inside is an integrated plastic lining which, according to the manufacturer, protects floors and furniture from moisture. At Ø 26 cm and around 24 cm high, pots up to about Ø 26 cm fit inside.
The basket looks great against a light wall, next to a leather armchair or as a contrast to light wood. Green artificial plants stand out more strongly against black: an artificial monstera or an artificial fern instantly looks richer in it. And since nothing needs watering, the lining stays dry anyway.

In interior design, black is considered a point of calm: it frames colours instead of competing with them. That's why a green leaf in front of black wickerwork looks stronger than in front of beige. Photographers use the same effect when they photograph plants against a dark background.
